Amy Keirstead presents chemistry seminar at Colby College

Amy Keirstead, Ph.D., associate professor in the Department of Chemistry and Physics, was an invited seminar speaker at Colby College in Waterville, Maine, on October 31, 2014.

Her talk, titled "Once Upon a Photon: Using Photochemistry to tell the Ionic Liquids Story," provided an overview of her research activities at 麻豆传媒that investigate the use of ionic liquids for a variety of green chemistry and nanotechnology applications.

The presentation included work carried out with assistance from several 麻豆传媒undergraduate researchers including current students Lindsey LaPointe (Chemistry-Secondary Education, 鈥�15), Andrew Diorio (Chemistry, 鈥�16) and Colbey Bowen (Medical Biology, 鈥�15).
